Generating consistent income with your online brand does not have to be complicated or overwhelming.

Being an entrepreneur for over 10 years now has shown me that the greatest success comes from clarity, strategy and having a style that separates you from the competition. In fact, I rarely speak of competition because I know that when you find your lane, what the competition does will be none of your business because you are running your own race, elegantly and profitably.
So how do you ensure that your business is generating consistent revenue online? Here a four things you need to know and do right now:

#1 – TELLING THE RIGHT STORIES

Now there are two parts to this, so read and note this carefully. There are the stories that you tell in your marketing and the stories you tell yourself that are in your mind.

Let’s start with the stories that you are telling yourself because this one tends to get in the way of everything else. This is an area that I am very passionate about with women in transforming so that they can powerfully step into their full potential and create the level of success that they truly deserve.

Because often, we are the ones standing in the way of our own success. Not deliberately, but because of unconscious programming. I had a client who didn’t think that she could earn $25,000 for her service. She felt like the market was competitive and other people were offering the same service for $5000. Her story was that no one would pay that to her when there are others charging less. In fact, another story was that she didn’t know where to find the clients who would pay this.

We worked on her limiting beliefs and upgraded her money story and she began to sell her high-end packages. Nothing changed in the market. Her story about herself and the market changed. This is the starting point.

Once your story about your ability to earn great money for your amazing genius shifts, you need to have a powerful brand message that is marketable and attracts the right audience. I remember reviewing the copy on one of my client’s websites. There was one word (yes, one word) that was the source of her attracting clients she didn’t want to work with. We shifted the energy and words in her copy and she began to attract a higher level clientele. The other challenge for a lot of people is to get out of corporate-speak or trying to sound like an expert. Your message must community both emotion and authority. It must also connect with what has meaning for your ideal client.

#2 – A MARKETABLE BRAND PRESENCE

Imagine going on a date for the first time. That first impression counts. How you dress, the perfume you wear, the way you eat at dinner, the conversations that you have will all play a big role in determining whether the other person will be sold on seeing you again and vice versa.

If your website, lead pages and even social media content are not designed to attract clients, you won’t. Your brand image is sending a message out into the world. It is either pulling the right clients in or repelling them. And if you are thinking that you don’t need a brand, the market is still labelling and branding you. It is either establishing your authority as a go-to expert or positioning you as one of many. A pretty website means nothing if it isn’t designed to COMMUNICATE WHY YOUR BRAND IS DIFFERENT AND SELL YOUR OFFERS FAST.

This is why when I work with clients on their brand, we create an identity for the brand and embed codes and symbols that prompt people to buy (especially high-end clients). Your brand presence must also ALWAYS be supported by clear “CTAs” (Call to Action). So many entrepreneurs post online hoping people will buy. But if you are not including clear and compelling CTAs you won’t turn posts into clients. This is all built into the brand image and content to make it more marketable.

BE KNOWN FOR ONE THING

Most people are suffering from serious FOMO. Trying to offer a little of this and a little of that. This is a sure strategy for diluting your success. I remember a client who came to me who wanted to break through to six-figure success in her business. I took her through our Le Creneau exercise during our coaching session and we eliminated all the products and services that were not scalable, pleasurable or sustainable.

We transformed her business into a brand by focusing on a well-defined gap in the market. That same year she sold a $40K package and then had a $100K month. It was amazing to watch her quantum leap her revenue because of a streamlined focus. She also said her ideal clients started to find her. It was clear to everyone what they should reach out to her for.

Many times I have seen that entrepreneurs, unintentionally create static in their business model which is affecting your ability to stop trading dollars for hours and working on soul draining projects. Focusing on becoming known for one thing will help you stand out.

For more than 10 years I have been guiding entrepreneurs through the journey of global brand success using strategies the world’s top successful brands use.
